ABOUT ME
I am a parent of two little girls. They are adorable and demanding. I often feel like a lady’s maid, a chambermaid, a cook, and chauffeur. It’s hard work and it leaves little time for me to take care of myself. I am learning to prioritize my self care, and it’s making a huge difference in my attitude and my health. It can even be a way to connect with my girls. Going for a bike ride, or having my daughter help me cook have become fun ways to spend quality time together and we each get our needs met. I am also learning that taking time for myself is not selfish and sacrificing my health and wellbeing for my family only hurts myself and my family.Â
I have been in the fitness industry for over 20 years. I have coached competitive rowing, been a personal trainer and participated in countless rowing, running and cycling events. I also enjoy hiking and camping and being outside. I have also always had a passion for learning about nutrition and finding ways to eat healthy without spending a ton of money and spending hours in the kitchen.Â
I am a Certified Health Coach through the American Council on Exercise (ACE) and a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), and I’d love to help you find a path to feeling better. Being a parent is challenging, but there are always small changes that we can make to improve our wellbeing. Through self care, you can find more energy and joy in yourself and your family.
